Capturing the spirit of our favorite old effect pedals, Retur is an intensely colorful and grungy delay effect with screeching feedback and hard-hitting echoes. The focus is all on character.

Sounds made with Dyad

There is something special about increasing the feedback on an analog delay pedal– you start to hear all the quiet echoes get increasingly loud as their inherent artifacts get more prominent. In this sludge of feedback ghosts there's a rich and beautiful texture that we seldom hear in digital delay units. Retur attempts to capture these fond memories of turning the dials on various delay pedals just a little too far.

All of the effects besides the distortion in the Dyad video were made with Retur – even the gnarly reverb which was made by chaining multiple instances.

Requirements

Retur is a Max for Live device and requires Ableton Live Suite (or standard with the Max for Live add-on) to use. It is not compatible with any other DAW.

Retur is fully compatible with Push 2 & 3 + standalone

The device parameters are fully mapped to the Push interface and all functionality can be controlled from the hardware without needing to interact with your computer.
